Some of the finest single malt whiskies from the major distilling regions in Scotland have been carefully married with aged grain whiskey to produce this perfectly balanced blended Scotch.

For centuries fine whiskies have been produced and blended in Scotland, achieving the most favourable balance in flavour and fragrance. This is a cherished art and McIvor embodies this art through the selection of only the finest Five Year Old whiskies, hand picked to create this unique blend.

McIvor Finest is a 5 Year Old blend that can stand up in taste to any aged blended scotch whiskey. Its aging is done in cask barrels that were once used for rum aging, giving McIvor its unique taste.

Nose: Sweet and spicy. Freshly cut hay, malted barley and tangy citrus aromas layer notes of roasted almonds, toffee and raisins.

Palate: A remarkably smooth blend. Initially noted of dried fruits, with chocolate orange and rich marmalade on malted toast.

Finish: Long and sweet. More dried fruits with chocolate with a faint earthy aroma.

A deep golden color with roasted nut and toffee aromas. It has a soft delicate entry that leads to a round sweet buttery caramel palate with delicate spices, dusty minerals, and white pepper.
